About the Worlebury area
Worlebury is the hill area in North Somerset which lies between Weston-super-Mare and Kewstoke. The area is bordered to the west by the Bristol Channel. A former toll road follows the coast from Sand Bay to the derelict Birnbeck Pier.
On top of the hill is an ancient hillfort, one of the most notable hillforts in Somerset. Known as Worlebury Camp, it was built over 2,000 years ago.
